Club Marine, Australia's leading boat insurance provider, has expanded its offerings to include specific coverage for race boats while they are on land.
This development comes through a new partnership with the Australian Offshore Powerboat Club (AOPC), aiming to address the unique insurance needs of race boat owners.

Historically, insuring race boats during storage and transit has been a complex process, often leaving owners with limited options. Recognising this gap, Club Marine collaborated with AOPC to develop a policy that provides protection against accidental loss or damage, theft, and malicious damage when the boat is on land and secured on its trailer.

Antony De Fina, Commodore of AOPC, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, highlighting the longstanding relationship between the two organisations. He noted that this new insurance offering is a significant step forward in supporting race boat owners, ensuring their valuable assets are protected even when not in use.

For race boat enthusiasts, this means enhanced peace of mind, knowing that their vessels are covered during periods of inactivity. The policy is designed to be straightforward, eliminating the need for owners to specify their race boats under accessories, thus streamlining the insurance process.

Club Marine's initiative reflects its commitment to evolving with the needs of the boating community. By addressing the specific concerns of race boat owners, the company reinforces its position as a responsive and customer-focused insurer in the marine sector.
